Laurence started her career in corporate finance and LBO financing, and after graduating from Wharton in 1994, joined Accenture in their strategy practice in London. After years as a consultant, she held a succession of strategy and operational roles for Accenture, and became the Chief of Staff to Accenture's CEOs Pierre Nanterme and then David Rowland. As Chief of Staff, she represented Accenture at a number of international forums like the G20, oversaw cultural transformation programs towards innovation and new methods of working for the consulting practices. She was Accenture's Chief Social Responsibility Officer for two years, overseeing their corporate citizenship engagements and initiating a series of programs to embed social responsibility into their core business, for instance, launching the Responsible AI initiatives. She is now the Chief of Staff to Accenture's CEO for Europe Middle East & Africa, and a member of Accenture's EMEA Management Committee. She represents Accenture in different coalitions such as WBCSD, and works closely with the Government Relationship team to more fully leverage EU and government strategies. Laurence is also the Chair of JA Europe and a member of the board of JA Worldwide, a non-profit organization delivering hands on, immersive learning in entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial health to more than 17 million students each year in over 100 countries. She is a member of the Board of Digiworld/ Idate, a French digital think tank and Accenture France Foundation. Accenture is one of the largest professional services firms serving G2000 clients with services spanning from strategy and consulting, technology, to digital marketing and outsourcing. Accenture has a global turn-over of $64.9B and employs over 750,000 people worldwide. In EMEA, Accenture has a turn-over of about $22B and over 100,000 employees.
