Ignacio de Orue is Deputy Chief People Officer at Orange based in Paris in charge of international HR and responsible for the management and coordination of HR activities outside France. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from ICADE in Madrid, Spain, and an MBA from Wharton, graduating in the class of 1999. Ignacio began his career in finance working in M&A at JP Morgan in London and New York, and afterwards had a brief stint at BCG. In 2000, Ignacio joined a start-up, which later was acquired by France Telecom. Within the FT Group (now Orange), Ignacio had a variety of roles, showcasing his versatility. He took on responsibilities in business development, brand and communications, customer experience, and digital. In 2015, he found his niche in the field of human resources. Aside from his professional pursuits, Ignacio is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise. He actively teaches HR and transformation at IESE as an "executive fellow." Ignacio is Spanish and is married with five children.
