This session is about latest paradigm of AI Engineering - Self-evolving AI agents: what they actually are, and how they work. We will cover the building blocks, including agentic designs, tools, resources, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and how each fits together.
The focus is on working within the existing interfaces, the Claude and ChatGPT UIs you already use, rather than model engineering or heavy infrastructure work. No coding background is required. The aim is to show how to get agent-like capabilities out of the tools available to everyone, and how to build equivalent or near-equivalent setups for individual use rather than relying on enterprise systems.
The goal is for you to leave understanding not just the concepts, but how to put them to work on your own.

George is a researcher, AI/ML engineer, and entrepreneur specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Since 2012, he has been working in AI/ML, initially supporting startups in leveraging these technologies for fundraising and later founding GKEntropy in 2016, which he led until 2024. Today he runs his own startup, currently in stealth mode and part of the Microsoft for Startups ecosystem.
Before focusing on AI, George worked in finance and consulting following his Wharton education. He worked with a London-based private equity firm, advising on investments in emerging markets, and previously worked in wealth management in New York City, where he structured transactions with major financial institutions and hedge funds.
Prior to his academic pursuits at Wharton, George practiced law until 2006. In his legal career, he held several advisory roles, including serving as Legal Advisor to the Cultural Foundation of the President of Georgia, Edouard Shevardnadze, as well as advising the Minister of Industry and the Minister of Justice of Georgia and the French Embassy in Georgia.
George holds four advanced degrees: a Master of Science in AI Engineering from a program developed by the French Government and CentraleSupelec, an engineering school based in France; a Master's degree and a J.D. in Public Law from Tbilisi State University, in Georgia; an LL.M in Business Law from the University of Strasbourg, France; and an MBA with an individualized major in International Finance and Risk Regulation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
George serves as President of the Wharton Club of the United Kingdom, where he founded the Wharton Alumni AI Studio, the affinity group dedicated to artificial intelligence.
