How much AI is enough ?

Le mercredi 11 janvier 2023 à France-Amériques, nous accueillerons lors de notre déjeuner Virginie Lannevere (WG 96).

We have for years integrated ai in our analytical toolkit to generate faster, better insights and recommandations for our clients. In fact algorithms have been around from far before I even started my career in Analytics. However technological advances combined with increased level of R&D in ai have created a new playing field for Analytics.

For us, working on understanding consumer behavior and impact on profitability, this has been a game changer.

I will share a particular and recent example of how ai allowed us to add creative quality to the list of actionable business levers for CMOs.

Virginie Lannevere

  • Driven, highly experienced global transformational leader.
  • 25 years of management experience in strategic advisory, business and consumer analytics, digital transformation, change management built across several global leadership roles at Weight Watchers Intl and investment banking, in London and in New York.
  • Back to France 5 years ago, now taking an Analytics leadership role at Kantar to help top-tier companies adapt to the rapidly-evolving world of data, analytics, and strategic and tactical decisioning.
  • Strong believer that Analytics deployed at its best not only supports better decision-making, but empowers, generates strong points of view on what comes next to create value.

The above still does not tell what also shaped my career path....Was it serendipity? Growing self-awareness? Values? Or was it due to role-models - starting with my grand-mothers? Privileges, being born where I was, access to best education? Becoming the mother of Fleur, born with cerebral palsy? Believing in her, in us, in me? Learning humility, patience. Seeing the potential in everyone and every situation. Loving life, both terrible and wonderful.

Virginie is a graduate of Wharton (WG96), Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Law and Administration of Media) and Sciences Po Paris (Bachelor Business & Managerial Economics).
