An Entrepreneurial Journey Through Three Decades of Change
Une Conversation avec Antoine Dréan (WG'92)

Antoine Dréan is a private equity entrepreneur and investor with more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
In 1992, he founded Triago, which he built into one of the leading global advisory firms dedicated to private markets before selling it to Houlihan Lokey in 2024. He also founded Mantra Investment Partners in 2007, a specialist investment firm focused on differentiated and often overlooked private-market opportunities, and Palico in 2012, a regulated digital marketplace dedicated to LP-led secondary transactions.
Through these three ventures, Antoine has approached private equity from three complementary perspectives—as an advisor, an investor and a marketplace operator. This has given him a broad, global view of private capital and a distinctive ability to identify structural shifts in the market at an early stage.
Antoine holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (WG’92). He served on Wharton’s Board for ten years, including four years as Chairman for EMEA.
